Design for how you cook
Before we draw a single cabinet, we ask about workflow: where you chop, where pans live, whether two people cook at once. That conversation shapes counter depth, drawer placement, and where the bin hides. Many Amsterdam kitchens are too small for an island — we maximise wall runs instead.
Handleless J-pull fronts and push-to-open drawers give a clean look without catching hips in tight spaces. For family kitchens we often specify one section of open shelving — a deliberate break in the rhythm so daily items are reachable without opening doors.

Carcasses, worktops & appliances
Cabinets are 18 mm moisture-resistant MDF with 8 mm backs, fully screwed — not cam-locked. Base units include adjustable legs and plinths cut to uneven floors. We coordinate cut-outs for your hob, sink, and integrated appliances once you confirm models.
Worktops are quoted separately: solid oak from €890 per linear metre installed, quartz composite from €620, laminate from €185. We recommend leaving stone selection until after carcass install so overhangs can be checked on site.

Pantry walls & islands
Floor-to-ceiling pantry units with internal drawers and spice racks are our most requested upgrade — typically €2,840 for a 2.2 m run. They hide small appliances and bulk shopping without cluttering work surfaces.
Islands start at €4,650 for a 1.8 m unit with storage and overhang for two stools. Structural checks are required in older buildings; we liaise with your contractor if floor reinforcement is needed.

Coordination note: We install joinery only. Plumbing, gas, and electrical work remain with your licensed trades. We provide dimension drawings two weeks before install so connections land in the right place — a service included in every kitchen quote at no extra charge.
